The article reveals the features of the education system in Kazakhstan universities and at the
University of Oxford. The goals of reforms in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan are shown, the possibilities of admission to universities are revealed. Recommendations for improving the quality of education based on the experience of the University of Oxford are indicated.
