Abstract

Purpose: studying of a phenomenon of methodology of pedagogics, its treatment in works of outstanding methodologists of the XX century, the developed approaches and traditions in a understanding of the nature and a role of methodology in education and pedagogical activity. The author offers the analysis of the developed approaches to understanding of an essence of methodology of pedagogics, connecting its treatment with type of scientific rationality.
